Last night, after our long journey through Shreveport, Kalie, David, and Avery came over for dinner and games. Keegan once again had been quite fussy but as soon as Avery got there, he became quiet.
How cute are they playing together!? I couldn't choose just one, so I put all three pictures we took of them up.
Avery crawled over to where Keegan was playing and began playing with him. It was so sweet.
Every time Kalie and I are out with them, people ask if they are twins. I don't think they look
that much alike..
Here I am, looking lovely like always. We played two games; the first one was
Imaginiff and the last was
Partini. In Imaginiff, you have a card that you fill someone's name in and have to pick the best answer. For example:
Imaginiff Jonas were an animal. Which would he be?
1. Rottweiler
2. Ferrett
3. Parakeet
4. Rhino
5. Mouse
6. Giraffe
We all had numbered cards and we would put whatever answer we thought was best face down. Once we all picked, we'd flip the cards over. Say three people picked 2, and one person picked 5. The three that picked two would advance one space. If there was a tie, everybody would move.
This game was a bit more interactive. There are six different games to play within this game. The person at the end to collect the most coasters wins. You get a coaster by successfully beating the game on the back of the coaster. For example: On the "WHAT NOT" cards, you have a list of five things. You have to say whatever it's NOT and your teammate has to get three correctly before the time runs out in order to get the coaster. So, for instance, if the objects is a giraffe, you have to say "This is not a reptile. This does not have a short neck." Get it? The different games are all so much fun, I recommend everybody gets this game.
These pictures are all from Partini. In this picture, David picks Clay Smoothies, so he had to use the clay to show what was on the cards. He could not talk. Can you guess what this was?
He was trying to be a queen, it was hilarious!
Here, he was playing What Not, and he was describing The Last Supper. He said things like "This is not the first. This is not breakfast. This is not lunch." He did pretty well in this game.
In this picture, Kalie was trying to show a sidewalk. You should've seen the head shake to go along with it. ;)
Haha, here Jonas was humming songs. It's a game called "Hum Punch," you get a card with four songs and you can only hum them, hoping that your teammate gets two of them right. We didnt' get it...but it wasn't because of his humming skills, cuz he's the best out there.
They didn't end up leaving until one, so, needless to say, it was a very fun night. We were all laughing basically the whole time, especially while watching Jonas and David hum their songs.
Rule #60. Admit your mistakes.
