Since it was my first time ever being sedated, I was really curious as to how I would react to the anesthesia. So as soon as I was coherent enough, I grabbed my phone and started recording. I managed to get thirty minutes of footage, and have sifted through it and have decided to share it with everybody. While there are still some boring parts, it is quite comical. Enjoy! (I am sorry, I don't have the German translations yet, but I will work on that for y'all!)

Surgery
Surgery went really well this morning. It has been 15 hours and I am still not feeling any real pain, thank goodness. My chin and bottom lip are still numb. I am sure that I will be in some pain tomorrow, but for now I am just counting my blessings!

Surgery on Wednesday
I wanted to let everybody know that I am finally getting my wisdom teeth removed..all four of them! I go in on Wednesday morning. I most likely will be taking a break from the 365 Day Project for about a week. My top teeth are fine and normal, but my bottom teeth are growing horizontally instead of vertically, so they said to expect more pain than a normal extraction. I am getting really nervous as I have to be fully sedated for the surgery, and I have never been sedated before! I know that the end result will be 100% better than the pain I am experiencing now, so I am so ready to get it over with. I just wanted everyone to be aware so no questions come up as to why there are no new posts in the next few days! Wish me luck!
DAY176
Happy Birthday Jonas!!
Today, the most amazing man in the world turns 27. I am so proud of my wonderful husband for all that he has accomplished thus far, and how far we have come in the past five years.

Duck Pond
Here are some more pictures from the beautiful day we had yesterday at the duck pond!
All Lila could do when she saw this one getting so close was point and say "Wow!"
She wants to do everything like her big brother!
That includes riding down the tallest slide at the duck pond all by herself! This was about 14 feet high!
My handsome husband :) I am so lucky!!
It was such a great day!
Delilah's Boo-boo
Poor Delilah. I want to cry every time I see her foot, she is soo tough! She was riding on a little push car when her foot got caught under the wheel. She got a nice rug burn on her foot! It doesn't seem to bother her much, she doesn't even flinch when we wash it. There was one incident where she dropped a rather large book on her foot, but other than that she seems fine! It's a good thing Dr. Daddy was around to take care of her because...you know me and my nervous ways, I would've taken her to the doctor.

DAY164
Day 164 of the 365 Day Project
Keegan trying to play fetch with Cooper with a brand new frisbee, even after I explained to him that Cooper has to get acquainted with a toy before willing to exhaust his energy chasing after it. He got frustrated (as you can see by the look on his face here) as he received blank stares from Cooper. Even still, for a good ten minutes, Keegan threw the frisbee down the hall and pointed to it excitedly telling Cooper "Fetch!" and attempting to push the dog (more than three times his size!) down the hall. Cooper never understood what Keegan wanted him to do, but followed him around nonetheless.

Private Blog
We have decided that it is in the best interest of our family and our children to remove the blog from the public listings and make it private. I know I have mentioned this in the past and never did it, but this time I am serious about it. After all of the horror stories I've heard of identity theft and child abduction and whatnot, I am making it so easy for online predators to gain access by keeping the blog public, so I need to have some restrictions. In order to do see our blog, I will have to add your e-mail address to our list of accepted viewers. Please please send me your e-mail address if you would like to be able to see the blog in the future! You may either comment here with it or e-mail me at samantha.schuster829@gmail.com. If I dig deep enough through all of my e-mails, I will hopefully be able to find those of you that sent me the request before, and add you. To insure that this happens, better just e-mail me again! :) Thanks for understanding!

I Need Your Help!!
I am so in love with the picture of the day from Saturday (Day 160), that I really want to get it on canvas. I do need your opinion though. Canvas photos are quite pricey, especially the size I'd like to get it in. So I need your honest opinion. Is the photo good enough to have forever in 48''x36'' (122 cm x 92 cm)? Or is there another photo that you think would be better to have above our fireplace that large? Please comment and let me know! I would really like others' inputs for this, I see pictures differently from everybody else, especially when it comes to pictures of my own children. Thank you in advance! (If you have another picture in mind that would be good on canvas, or even better on canvas, please let me know which one!)

DAY161
Day 161 of the 365 Day Project
My first attempt at painting with acrylics! I saw a scene like this on my way to work the other day and have been inspired to try painting it ever since. I finally had some time today to try. I am proud of myself, considering I have never done anything like this before!
DAY160
Babysitters!
Jonas and I got to go out on Friday night for a company dinner. It was so much fun getting dressed up and going out!Delilah loves our new babysitter, Morgan! (she is best friends with our regular sitter, Morgan.. they babysat together on Friday night). I had to share because I had never seen Lila get so upset to say goodbye to anybody, except for the new Morgan. The look on her face when I took her from Morgan's arms just broke my heart! Needless to say... we have some very good babysitters, and I love them both dearly!
Mardi Gras!
Yesterday we went to our very first ever Mardi Gras parade, right here in Shreveport! It is a statewide festival, not limited to New Orleans. It was pretty cold yesterday, the kids were troopers! We were at the end of the parade line, we spent about six hours out there enjoying the good food and good company. Here are some of the pictures!
She wore gloves for the first time and it was kind of hysterical haha. She didn't know what do to with her hands!! She stood there for probably 10 minutes and didn't move her arms in the slightest. It reminded us of Ralphie's little brother Randy in the movie "The Christmas Story." (if you haven't seen that movie, watch it! It's one of my favorite Christmas movies)
Keegan was so sweet and included Lila in everything yesterday!
Delilah with AJ, a coworker of Jonas's. AJ and his wife just welcomed their third little girl a few weeks ago!
Best. Gumbo. Ever.
Delilah figured out that if she kicked hard enough, the horn would honk.
She thought it was hilarious!!
I am not sure how safe this is... using a portable gas stove to keep warm.
Holden playing horseshoes!
Mick and his hat... Keegan had to give the man with the silly hat a hug, simply because he had a silly hat!
Shreveport's finest!
At the start of the parade!! When the semi trucks came and honked their horn, it scared Keegan. And then he got hit in the head with flying beads (that hurt too, and I don't think it being so cold helped any!) so he spent most of the parade in the car.
Ed and little Branson. He was such a trooper!
My sweeties!
Bryson! Bryson goes to school with Keegan, and his dad works with Jonas
Bradley, a coworker of Jonas's
Bailey!
Mick, the guy with the silly hat, traded it in for a silly behavior, lol
The Cazares family!
This Krewe has my vote.. it's Garfield!
This is the sweetest grill ever. I had never before seen a grill that was also a trailer. We have the coolest friends ever!
115 necklaces, four balls, three cups, one rubber ducky, and one jump rope later... we practically came out empty handed compared to everybody else there!
Overall, I think our first Mardi Gras experience was a success! The kids had fun,and Jonas and I actually got to enjoy ourselves - something we don't get too often with two rambunctious toddlers!
