I have just ordered our second blog book!!  Here is a link to preview the book I ordered.

To our family (and whoever else wants one or is interested in a blog book of their own):

Go check out www.blogger.sharedbook.com - you can print ANY blog of your choosing.  We already had one made for 2008-2009, all I did was enter my blog address and choose a range of dates (1/1/08 - 12/31/09) and the website all the work with putting it together nicely.  I got to choose a pretty cover, and even put a picture on the front and back.  I am so excited about getting our second book in - have the blog is so great, and having the book is even BETTER. Keegan LOVES going through the book we have now and looking at all the pictures and such. I also love it, being able to go back and refresh all of these memories (like the time Jonas set off the fire alarm in our apartment building and evacuated about 100 people).

For my new book, with dates from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2011, hardbound, in color, I paid $127.15.  For all of our family in Germany - I am not sure if they ship to Germany.  If they do, that's wonderful.  If they don't, or if it is just too expensive to ship to Germany, please feel free to have it sent to us and we will keep it safe for you until we can get it to you.

Google

I am so mad at Google right now I could scream.  Apparently, every time I upload a picture to the blog (which is operated through Google), it saves it to another Google application called Picasa, into a folder called Picasa Web Albums.  This is the first I am learning of this.  Apparently, I have completely used up my storage.  Under normal circumstances, I would just delete the pictures from my Picasa Web Albums and go on about my business, but apparently, if I delete it from the Picasa Web Albums, it also deletes it from the blog.  Go figure.  So...until I can find a way around this, or pay a monthly fee to increase my storage (which doesn't make sense...shouldn't it be a one time fee? Stupid...plus - even if I pay this fee, what happens when I use up all that storage too?), I will not be able to upload any pictures to the blog.  GRR!!! Trust me, I am just as upset about this as you probably are.  Hopefully I can figure something out soon!

In the meantime, I will put all the pictures I was trying to put on the blog, on Facebook.. so for all of you on Facebook, you can see them there.  So sorry!!

Random October Pics

There has been a lot of learning going on in October, so not many pictures.  

Keegan knows how to write every letter of the alphabet, capital and lowercase, and knows their sounds.  He is working on reading now, and already knows some words by heart (dog, God, up, toms, Mom, Dad).  He has testing in January to see if he can get into a magnet school next fall, so fingers crossed that goes well!!

Delilah has also been doing a lot of learning recently.  She learns how to say a new word just about every day.  She understands just about everything we say to her, and it's become really easy for all of us (Keegan included!) to understand what she is trying to say.  New words/phrases this week: Keegy, house, yes, yeah, how are you, here, cookie, dankeschön, help.  These are all I can think of off that top of my head! Not to mention all of the words/phrases she already knew, like thank you, mommy, daddy, let's go, shoes, eat, kaba, night night, poo poo, bye bye. She is still our little sweetheart, she loves to cuddle and be tickled! Next step is getting her potty trained so she can go to preschool in the fall :) I can't believe she'll already be three!! 

I have this thing called Instagram - it is an app for the phone in which it is really easy to upload and share pictures.  The only way I have found to view all of the pictures from a computer is through this thing called Webstagram << if you click that link, it will take you right to my page! If you have Instagram, be sure to follow me at "sms829" for the daily pictures I add on there! I will try to get better about posting more often on the blog, and transferring the photos from Instagram onto the blog weekly. For now - here are some of the pictures from the past couple of weeks!
