Busy Busy!

So as many of you know, Jonas and I purchased our first house! We moved in 10 days ago and are still trying to get settled. We LOVE the house, we LOVE the neighborhood, it's amazing! I have yet to find my camera, but as soon as I do, I'll post pictures! I believe we have four boxes left until we're completely moved in haha. Sorry I haven't had much time to post!

Kids Update: Keegan has yet to make progress on the potty training. He has gone potty one time (on the potty) since moving here. We've got to get the ball rolling otherwise he won't be able to start school with his classmates in August! Delilah now has six teeth, four across the top and the same two on the bottom that started it all! She is starting to let go of things after she is
standing but is still pretty wobbly, still a little ways away from walking. She has started her
baby talk though, a lot of "baba"s and "gaga"s, I'm starting to work with her on Dada and Mama!

Here are a couple mobile uploads for you - more to come hopefully by the end of this week!
P.S. E-mail me (samantha.schuster829@gmail.com) if you would like our new address!

New Video, and Updates

Check out our latest video of the kids, captured yesterday! Keegan was hiding in the closet and playing with a hanger underneath the door, and Lila was loving it!

Lila is cutting some teeth right now; she got her third tooth on April 23rd and her fourth tooth just poked through on the 28th, both on the top. The other two on the top look like they're going to cut through any day now. She is getting better at walking while holding onto something, and is slower to fall when she lets go. Getting closer! I can't believe she's less than three months away from turning ONE!

Keegan hasn't really made any progress on the potty training. He has gone on the potty only a handful of times now, and will only randomly do it. The last time was a couple weeks ago. He is pretty seriously in his terrible twos now - as if I thought he wasn't already in it, now I definitely know. It's hard managing a teething baby and a misbehaving toddler. Everything we tell him to do, he does the exact opposite. It's harder and harder to put him to bed every night, when just a few weeks ago it wasn't this hard. He is starting to pick on Lila a lot more and slamming doors and such. Hopefully this phase passes soon!

I haven't had a charged camera in quite a bit, maybe I'll get some pictures from my phone on here shortly. Some big things are happening for this little Schuster family this month! Jonas and I will celebrate three years of marriage, and hopefully, within a week of our anniversary, we will be moving into OUR first house!! :)

We Are Blessed

The last couple weeks have been quite scary for us, with all of the nasty weather that has been through here. The death toll stretching from Oklahoma all the way to Georgia and Tennessee (basically the entire southeast) is up to over 200, last I heard. Here in the Schuster house we have only had a few broken limbs and a flooded backyard, and many tears from a scared two-year-old (he kept calling it mad airplanes). Alabama was hit last night the hardest. I hope it doesn't affect North Carolina at all, Jonas is there until Friday! After seeing pictures of the wreckage that these storm cells have brought to the Southeast, I can say we truly are lucky to have so little damage. Please keep the families of those affected in your prayers, and Jonas too!!

Mobile Uploads

I've been so busy lately I haven't had much time to take pictures with my camera, but I have been with my phone, so here are a few for ya. Enjoy!

Keegan and Cooper - best buds!
Hanging out - I love it :)
She was sooo tired, she zonked out on Jonas's shoulder while at a friends
She found her first piece of chocolate that Keegan had left on the table...
...and she really enjoyed it!! Haha
He has been making this silly sideways face all the time, it cracks me up!
Not bad quality for a phone picture, if you ask me!
Hanging out with Daddy on movie night
What a goofball haha
:D Nothing makes me happier! :D
We've got another fish lover in the family!
My favorite!

Recovered Pictures

My dad was going through his desk the other day and found an undeveloped roll of film. He decided to have it developed, having no idea what it was. Turns out there were some pictures of our road trip from Sacramento, California to Atlanta, Georgia in June of 1998 - almost thirteen years ago! It was such a treat to see these pictures, I thought I'd share.

From left to right - Colton, Me, Paityn, Conner, Trent (Look at Conner here - can you see my
children at all?)
Trevor
Trent and Colton
Me in front of the old Cowboys stadium in Dallas, Texas
Little Miss Paityn shortly after I found her in the closet with a pair of scissors in her hand and her hair scattered all over the floor
Conner - such a cute picture of him. I can't believe he's driving now! This is how I will probably always see my baby brother.

Potty Training for Keegan

Ahh! This has been more difficult than I thought it would be. He has had dry diapers when he wakes up in the morning for about a month or so now, so we knew it was time to start the potty training. We have started putting regular underwear on him to make him more aware of when he goes to the bathroom, and whenever he's wearing the undies and needs to go poo-poo, he ALWAYS goes on the potty, which has been amazing. It's getting him to pee on the potty that has been difficult, he will start to pee in his undies then yell "I need to go on the potty!" but by then it's too late. Any tips?? He is already registered for school starting this fall but he can't go if he's not potty trained, so my deadline is coming up in about four months. I want to get this ball rolling, lol!

New Milestones for Delilah!

One week after Lila started sitting up, she started STANDING up! It was such a quick turnaround, I couldn't believe it! So she can pull up on anything and everything, she will walk around the table or walk around pushing a toy. She can't stand up without the help of an object, and she won't let go while standing (unless it's to sit down) but every day she gets stronger and every day I think it's going to be the day that she stands on her own, so I think it will be soon! Also, I don't know if I put this on here before, but Lila has a funny way of "cooing" and making it sound like real words! She says "Lila" all the time. She definitely knows her name, which is cool. When I was in Georgia, I was on the phone with Jonas and I jokingly yelled "I LOVE YOU" pretty loud. Paityn and I were sitting at the kitchen table and Lila was playing in the family room and she DISTINCTIVELY "cooed" back what sounded exactly like "I love you too." It was so amazing, Paityn and I dropped everything and just stared at each other in disbelief. Of course, it was just a coincidence but quite a crazy coincidence! She still has just the two teeth, and by this age Keegan had 6 or so teeth so he was able to chew food. Lila is still eating baby food because I'm scared to give her table food, thinking she'll choke. Maybe sometime this month we'll start with that, because Keegan had his first steak at 9 months and Lila will be 9 months at the end of this one! I can't believe how fast these last 9 months have gone by, let alone the last four years!
