Keegan and I met up with my friend Lauren and went swimming yesterday. Keegan liked it but held on to me for dear life. He wouldn't let go for anything. He loves bath time, but I think because he is in control and can touch the ground.

A Happy Mess
Keegan woke me up this morning and as I was going in to make him a bottle, he got really quiet. He normally talks or cries until I get him, so I waited on the bottle and went in to check on him. This is what I found when I went in there.
Notice all of the diapers in his crib? He reached through the bars and into a basket on his changing table containing a bunch of fresh diapers. He managed to pull EVERY single diaper into his crib and open and inspect each one. In the next picture you can see how he tipped the basket over to reach into it. And boy was he happy about it :)

Ride to Ringgold
Keegan, Gizmo and I made a two hour (total) trek to a little town called Ringgold, Louisiana yesterday to look at a piano for sale. They both fell asleep in the weirdest (and probably least comfortable) positions ever.
They were so cute, and so good for the whole ride. I need to get Keegan a pillow of some sort to prevent hurting his little neck though. We went to look at this Wurlitzer piano for sale, which we are getting! Its great, we already have a place to put it, and this way, I'll be able to play again, teach Keegan (maybe in a couple years, haha) and possibly even teach other people. My way of earning my keeps around here ;) I'm very excited about it.

First Teeth Brushing :)
Well I went out and got some toddler toothpaste and went at his teeth this morning (after I caught him in the cat's litter box). He didn't even struggle to get away from me - I'm SOO glad he likes getting his teeth brushed. As you can see in the picture, he even opened his mouth for me and kept it open so I could finish.

Haircut on Video
I only got a video of the first half, but it took 3+ strokes with the buzzer to get the long parts off.
Hair Cuts!
Jonas and I both have gotten hair cuts recently. I got mine cut and colored last Wednesday, and Jonas cut his last night. Since mine is less drastic, I'll post it first.I got about an inch off, layers, and bangs. Jonas, well..you'll see. Here's the before pic, with his wonderful hair-cutter Kalie in the background.
During...And the final product!Look at all of the hair we cut off.Needless to say, it took Keegan quite a while to recognize his daddy. I've never seen him with hair this short - his curls have always shown themselves since I've known him. It's way different, but I like it, and I know it will feel a lot better for him working in the 150 degrees Fahrenheit (65 degrees Celcius).

Walking at 9 Months :)
Two days ago Keegan took his first step. I wasn't sure if I could really call it a "step" because he fell immediately, but now there is no doubt in my mind. This video was taken just now, on his nine month "birthday" (June 15th), and he was walking. He first walked almost halfway across the room without falling but I didn't grab my camera in time. Here is what I could capture. My sweet little baby is growing up - and fast!!

Give him a fruit roll up, this happens an hour later :)
So I was making faces behind the camera, but he was cracking up.. I think it might have something to do with the Fruit Roll-Up he ate an hour earlier. ;)
I had (or so I thought) so more HILARIOUS videos where I would sing a little bit and then growl, and every time I growled Keegan would laugh hysterically. I accidentally pressed "Stop" instead of "Play" and visaversa, so now I have about 10 minutes of couch and noise. :( I'm bummed about that, but I'm sure there will be more chances to capture it on tape!

Playing With Gizmo
Here is Keegan playing tag with Gizmo (although Gizmo hasn't really caught on to the game yet). There are a bit of "boring" spots in the middle, but you MUST watch it to the very end because that's the best part :)
Happy Hands :)
Keegan still hasn't quite figured out how to clap the right way, but I'm thinking this is way too cute to care about right now. He gets so happy and drums/"claps". I love it!

First Steps
Keegan took two steps today without falling! After he finished them, he looked up at me, starting doing his dance (did I already mention that he dances now?) and fell to the ground. I'll try to capture the dance on video, and, better yet, the walking :)

Playing in the Yard
Oreo Eating Little Chunk-A-Boo
So there were two double-stuff oreos sitting on our coffee table this morning and Keegan had at it. Before we knew it, he had already finishd the first cookie and there wasn't a single crumb on the ground. If I give him a cracker he sometimes chokes or gags if it's too big, but he didn't have a single problem eating these oreos...other than the fact it was all over his hands and face :)

Bubbles!
My Boys :)
They were both just sitting there with their shirts off and I knew I had to take a picture. These two have the exact same body shaped it's crazy. You can see it here a bit with the shoulder, but you should see their legs.
And how precious is this? :) The two loves of my life Don't forget to vote on the new poll question I posted!

First Meat!
Well, as far as I can remember, this is the first time Keegan has had any meat. He just grabbed a chicken finger off my plate today and ate it. Much to my surprise, he ate the whole thing perfectly, no choking and no dropping. It was so adorable. His eyes are still blue. I've heard that the color of a baby's eyes at 9 months is their color for good. So that's just about a week away...
Gizmo
Well, Gizmo sure has grown in the past 8 weeks. He is already learning things. He DEFINITELY knows "No Bite!" and is in the process of learning "sit." In a few weeks (after my trip back to Georgia) we are going to "Puppy Kindergarten" together, hopefully teaching him many more things. So far he gets along with Bo great. He and Sophie get along too, but every once in a while Sophie will have her moments where she wants nothing to do with him. At least things are peaceful. No crazy barking or hiss fights. :)
Mom and Paityn's Visit
Short, but very fun. Here is a picture of Keegan actually wearing clothes - that's right, he does own some!! :) Those shoes didn't stay on very long; before he had even finished his bottle, he had kicked them off, hehe.
Jonas is pretty good on the grill, not gonna lie. For David's 27th birthday (on June 4th), Jonas cooked everybody steak and I cooked green bean casserole. It was goood :) This is in our backyard.
Every time Paityn would laugh, Keegan would CRACK up. He would be in a totally different room and still laugh when she laughed. I can't figure out why, maybe he's flirting, but it was the cutest thing. They are both (my mom and Paityn) back in Atlanta as of today, so maybe now I can get some more unpacking done. I really enjoyed having them over, and look forward to seeing them again, like always!!

In Our House :)
The place still isn't totally ready for pics, but this week it will be. You can see a little bit here but it's a wreck.Jonas and I have been so exhausted since moving here. Hopefully we'll get more rest when we are finally finished moving in this week. (what you probably can't see here is where Jonas drooled on my shirt) ;P

Video of the Action
Here is a video of Keegan standing up without any help. So I have a charged camera now, but not a clean house. I'll post pictures soon though, I promise!

Standing Up!
For the past few days, Keegan has been standing up on his own without the help of anything. I will get a video of it as soon as I find the charger, but it's really exciting to watch. He has even tried taking a couple of steps - we are not quite there yet, but getting closer. I would give a rough estimate of the date he first stood up on his own as Friday, May 29th.
Moved FINALLY!
We have returned our keys and cards at the apartment and are now in our house! Colton and his friends Brendon and Michael came to help, so a huge thanks to them for that and to David as well. Our furniture is in place, and the boys just left this morning. Now all I have to do is unpack all of the boxes (might be at least a week because Jonas is working nights and sleeping days so my job is to keep Keegan and Gizmo quiet during the day). Right now, my camera is dead and the charger is in a box somewhere, but as soon as I find it I will post pictures. Oh happy day! And on Wednesday, my mom and little sister Paityn are coming into town for a little bit. It'll be Paityn's first time in Shreveport. :) Here is Michael and Keegan taking a break on the hammock - swinging in this makes Keegan so relaxed, it's adorable! (poor quality because it was taken on my phone, sorry)
