Second Visit to Sci-Port!

Today, we went back to the "children's science museum," but this time, Jonas and Oma came with us. As you can tell from some of the next pictures, Jonas and David fit right in with the crowd of the museum.

Okay, I was reeling in a 287 pound alligator, it was hard and I NEEDED to put my foot up for extra support.

He went all the way through this tunnel! It was four of five times the size of what you can see in the picture! He's getting so big.

On Friday, April 24th, Jonas's Grandma had surgery done on her back. She is now continuing her recovery at home. We wish her a speedy and healthy one! Love you Oma!

Playing In the Apartment with Bozo and Oma!

Keegan has been playing a lot with his Oma. As you can see, I once again couldn't choose between the pictures, so I just put them all up. :)

Playing On Our Walk

We went for another riverside walk today, even though it was a bit rainy and very cloudy. A "muggy" day, but nice for a short walk! Here's a view of downtown Shreveport, where all of the big casinos are.
Here I am playing with Keegan, but as you can see in the picture after this, he ends up just "mocking" me, lol.

Keegan figured out how to get out of his stroller today AND how to turn around in it. We captured the turning around part below; if I had tried to snap a picture of him getting out of it, he would've hit his head after a three foot fall on the concrete!

Adventures at Barnes and Noble!

Keegan, Oma and I went to Barnes and Noble today and had a great time.
Keegan's gums are a little sore, as you can tell in this picture when he tried to bite the tank Engine. He has two bottom teeth and one top tooth, but they don't line up. He has fallen from standing up twice in the past three days (yesterday and the day before) and when he did, he hit his jaw, causing his bottom teeth to go into his top gums. Lots of blood and tears later, he is healed but it is pretty sensitive and keeps happening. Poor little guy, I get the worst feeling inside when I see him that way.Just hanging around in the kids center at Barnes and Noble.

At Kohl's the other day, Keegan was playing around on the floor. I don't understand why the old women gave me dirty looks for letting him crawl around. Pfft. We still had a good time nonetheless!

Mashed Potatoes Galore!

Keegan had his first helping of mashed potatoes the other day. He LOVED it.

Keegan had his first "injury" today. He has fallen before and gotten little red bumps and spots, but today was the worst it's been.

Louisiana Boardwalk with the Whole Fam!

It was 92°F (33°C) so we went to the Boardwalk. If it's like it was today tomorrow, then we will hopefully go swimming! Anyway, I couldn't decide which pics were the best, so I basically picked all of them to put on here!Here we are looking at the Red River. I know now why it's called the "Red" River!He absolutely LOVES getting on his Daddy's shoulders!We wished we had cool bikes like theirs today.Here's a sequence of pictures, I really couldn't eliminate any of them!
